On December 12,2025, Marcella and Richard Piper were inducted into the Ashtabula County Beekeepers Association Hall of Fame for their dedication and service to the ACBA. Marcella served as president of the association from 2006 to 2012 and then again from 2014 to 2016. They along with a small group of fellow members help hold the Association together during lean years.
